About Us

Lance and his wife Cyndee have been happily married for 16 years. They have two wonderful sons, Joshua (12 yrs.old) and Jayden (9 yrs.old). The boys are both kind, loving, happy, affectionate, well-mannered children who are disciplined, focused, and excel in school, and in basketball.

Lance grew up in South Sacramento, and started playing basketball at age nine in a church league and eventually played for a competitive tournament team, eventually winning a state championship. He also played four championship years on the John F. Kennedy High School basketball team under some of the top mentors in the Sacramento area.

Lance has a business degree from California State University, Sacramento, has been a licensed personal financial analyst for the past 10 years and has worked for the State of California since 1993.

Lance is passionate about basketball and coaching the youth of today, and has led youth basketball teams of all ages (from preschool boys and girls to high school senior boys) for over ten years, as well as leading championship tournament teams at the high school club team level. Lance was personally "recruited" by the YBA Dawgs AAU club director to be the head coach of the 4th grade team in 2009. He is currently the YBA 6th grade upper division team's head coach and the assistant director of the YBA-XTREME AAU Program. The YBA Club has a great reputation of being one of the top AAU Clubs in the Placer County Area, and Lance is honored to be a part of this high caliber organization.

Most importantly, he takes pride in being a devoted and dedicated husband and father whose #1 priority is his wife and children.

Cyndee grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii and moved to Sacramento after high-school to attend college. She received a degree in Psychology but never made it back to Hawaii to live. During her 1st semester at Sac. State, she met Lance and as they say, “the rest is history”. Although Cyndee left her “home” in Hawaii, the spirit of aloha is very much a part of her life and her ohana (Hawaiian for family). Lance, Cyndee and the boys try to make it back “home” to Hawaii once a year. Cyndee is a stay-at-home mom who feels very blessed that she has this title. Being able to stay home with the kids and raise them without outside help is a major accomplishment. The benefits and positive impact it has had on their children and their entire family dynamic is second to none. Cyndee is extremely thankful for her wonderful marriage and her beautiful children.

Family is the number one priority in their lives and everything they do, they do together as a family and for their family.

Aloha and Mahalo for reading about Lance, Cyndee and their ohana!
