THE NEXT LEVEL TRAINING ACADEMY is the premier athletic training academy in Placer County and surrounding areas. We are a complete basketball training academy that provides instruction and coaching focused on basketball and student/athletes of all ability betwwen grades 3rd and highschool.
Our professional instructors (Click here to see our instructors.) and teachers utilize a wealth of experience and knowledge to teach, train and educate. Our goal is simple - provide effective sports training and instruction designed to develop proper fundamental skills that allow for maximum development, leading to success in the classroom and both on and off the court.
What’s in the Academy?:
- Boys Group Basketball - Player development sessions for grades 3rd and up.
- Girls Group Basketball - Player development sessions, for 3rd and up. Led by former Central Washington College player, and Program Director for the YBA Panthers Girls AAU Club Stayza Albrecht.
GIRLS PROGRAM LEVELS:
- Level I Players - Players new to the game, or players that are still learning the basic fundamentals of the game of basketball. Players should know the basic rules of the game, and have some experience with playing the game of basketball. Focus will be on strengthening skills in dribbling, passing, basic shooting, layups, off hand skills as well as footwork and body mechanic coordination. The goal is to advance players to Level II training.
- Level II Players - Players are proficient in both strong and weak hand dribbling, have a understanding of basic individual moves (jab steps, pump fakes, etc.) as well as basic footwork (forward/reverse pivots, jumpstops, etc.). Players are experienced in shooting layups with BOTH hands, with the correct footwork. Players will be expected to work hard with the goal of getting better.
